Letter to Prashant, 2024-06-301 Minute(n) Lesezeit

Dear Prashant,

hari om.

i have completed the training twice now, first run in english, second i started in german and eventually returned back to english.

i did not dare do stage 27 in my first run as i was afraid it would come to an end. as it turns out, i followed your instructions to redo the course on my own:-)

so now, a few weeks ago i finally did stage 27. and i noticed something, that took me a lot of courage to write to you about.

at the end of the first loop through the chakras, you say manipura chakra, when it shoudl be muladhara chakra.

this throws me out of the flow.

there is also a pody part missing in stage 5. i think you leave out the right side shinbone. it has been a while. sometimes also, some body parts are named inconcistently.

i have mentioned a few times, i study, practice and teach non-violent communication (NVC, as developed by Marshall Rosenberg) and based on that, especially for the western people, i would also rephrase some of the wordings.

i am also not happy with the overall german translation.

so now, it is out. i feel shame for telling you this, as i am just a novice to yoga.

at the same time, i have experienced so much intense clarity since taking your courses, that i see more and more, how deeply integrated NVC and yoga are. NVC is yamas and Niyamas, NVC is in the Vishuti Chakra, and I am looking forward to the autumn 300h Class to hear more of Yoga Philosophy.

yours humbly

rene
